PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to view an electric field intensity display part and a battery residual display part even in a speaking state and simultaneously know the deterioration degrees of both the display parts. SOLUTION: The electric field intensity display part (LED) 18 for displaying a state that the intensity of an electric field is weak and a portable telephone set 1 exists near the outside of a communication range and the battery residual display part (LED) 17 for displaying a state that the voltage of a battery is close to a limit are arranged on the tip part of a folding flip 16 of the telephone set 1 and these display parts 17, 18 are driven by an ON signal from a flip switch 20 to be turned on when the flip 16 is opened. The flashing speeds of the display parts 17, 18 are respectively increased in accordance with the degrees of deterioration. |
