PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for washing a rechargeable well while preventing its clogging, by creating negative pressure without causing the collapse of the ground. SOLUTION: A casing pipe 11, a water filler pipe 16 and a water pumping pipe 17 are made of very corrosion resistant material such as stainless to prevent metal corrosion which may cause clogging inside the well casing of the rechargeable well 10. A layer of a filter 12 where the strainer of the well is installed is thickly formed to seal the well 10. Prior to water injection, a sudden negative pressure is produced in the filled well by pumping water using a backwashing water pump 14 installed at the water pumping pipe 17, whereby fine grains 9 around the well causing clogging are forcibly removed prior to the start of a recharging operation.
