PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast program reservation device that can surely reserve a broadcast program desired by a user and to provide a broadcast program guide device that provides a broadcast program guide service required for the broadcast program reservation device. SOLUTION: The broadcast program guide device of this invention adopts a configuration such that it generates broadcast guide service information from detailed broadcast program information acquired by a broadcast corporations, generates broadcast guide service information from broadcast program arrangement information in a broadcast wave, and then updates the broadcast guide service information according to the broadcast program arrangement information in the broadcast wave. Furthermore, the broadcast program reservation device of this invention decides a reserved broadcast program by using a service provided by the broadcast program guide service, acquires information required for the reservation of the reserved broadcast program according to the broadcast program arrangement information in the broadcast wave after that and updates the program when the information is revised.
