<p>The motor is housed in a cylindrical thermoplastic tube (5) with its rotor (6) centred within the stator (3) and its shaft (7) rotating in bearing cheeks (10,11) across the ends (12,13) of the tube. The stator is centred by means of e.g. four axial ribs (18) on the tube lining (19) or the stator rim entering into grooves (21) in the counterpart.One rib has a different width so that the angular position of the motor within the tube can be determined on assembly. The cheeks are made of the same material (e.g. polyarylamide) and shaped by the same moulding operation, leaving a passage (17) for the electrical connections (16)</p> |
