PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, in a mold clamping device having a mold opening and closing actuator and a mold clamping cylinder, a structure in which the movable mold can smoothly be moved even after a long-term operation.SOLUTION: Provided is, in a mold clamping device, a structure including a movable platen 18, and in which there is provided, in the movable platen, a through hole 41 having a hole diameter equal to the outer diameter of the tie bar 19 plus clearances C1, C2, such that the tie bar 19 is prevented from slide-contacting with the inner peripheral surface of the through hole 41.EFFECT: Since the movement of the movable platen is not prevented by the tie bar, even after a long-term operation, the movable mold can smoothly be moved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
