<p>PURPOSE:To reduce factors in generation of particles by storing a valve body in a space inside a casing which has an intake side cover and a discharge side cover fixed to both ends thereof, and forming a very small space between the outer periphery of the valve body and the inner wall surface of the casing. CONSTITUTION:This check valve 20 includes a casing 22, an intake side cover 26 and a discharge side cover 28, both of which are fixed to the respective portions of the casing 22, and a valve body 40 stored in a space 221 inside the casing 22. The length of the valve body 40 is more than twice the diameter thereof and is set at such a value as to be capable of obtaining proper flow resistance in a very small space delta between the inner wall surface 22S of the casing and the outer peripheral surface 40S of the valve body and a plurality of pressure channels 42 are formed in the outer periphery 40S of the valve body so that the valve body 40 is operated at the center of the space 221. During e.g. an intake stroke, a liquid introduced from an intake opening 30 presses the valve body 40 to a discharge side valve seat 36 by means of its pressure and seats it there. Simultaneously, the liquid is allowed to flow into a high pressure pump from a connecting opening 38 through the space delta via a discharge side valve seat 32.</p> |
