PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rechargeable vacuum cleaner easy to handle.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner 2 includes: a fan motor 4 generating suction air; a storage battery 5 supplying electric power driving the fan motor 4; a body case 9 storing the fan motor 4 and storage battery 5; a duct 6 transferring the suctioned air and dust; a dust separation part 7 separating air and dust in a downstream side of the duct 6; a handle 8 extended linearly in a longitudinal direction of the duct 6; a suction port body 2b suctioning dust from a cleaning target face; a pipe 2c connecting the suction port body 2b and duct 6. Concerning a position in a longitudinal direction of the duct 6, the positions of the storage battery 5 and handle 8 have a superimposed area on each other or the position of the storage battery 5 is far from a tip of the duct 6 compared to the position of the handle 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
