The present invention refers to a process for the actuation of an anti-theft assembly and anti-theft assembly. A stationary transmitter-emitter (1) emits a question coded signal (FCS) to a portable transponder (2) which, in turn, answers with an answer coded signal (ACS). The answer coded signal is scanned at predetermined scanning time intervals (t0, t1) and from it, it demodulates a coded information. When the first bits of the answer coded signal cannot be read anymore, then according to the invention, the scanning momentum is displaced in a phases angle (1) and the remaining answer coded signal is read.
