PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light-emitting element capable of stable operation, and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, the semiconductor light-emitting element includes a substrate, first to third semiconductor layers, a first conductive part, and a first insulating part. The substrate has a first surface including an outer edge region and an inner region. The second semiconductor layer is provided between the inner region and the first semiconductor layer. The third semiconductor layer is provided between the first and second semiconductor layers. A part of the first conductive part is provided between the substrate and the second semiconductor layer. The first insulating part overlaps the outer edge region in a first direction from the second semiconductor layer toward the first semiconductor layer. The thickness of the first insulating part at a position overlapping a substrate side surface in the first direction is larger than the thickness of the first insulating part at a position away from the substrate side surface in a direction crossing the first direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
