<p>1415569 Reel for pull cord INTERSILMA BV 7 May 1973 [18 Oct 1972] 21674/73 Heading B8M A reel for a pull cord of a roller blind comprises a reel hub 2 secured coaxially to one end of a roller 5 and bounded by radial flanges 3, 4, a pull cord 13 secured to the hub and wound thereon to rotate the reel and roller relative to a fixed support 9, a tubular member 10 coaxial with the roller with an inner surface closely surrounding the outer peripheries of both flanges 3, 4, the clearance between the flanges and the member 10 being less than the thickness of the cord 13, and an aperture 14 in the member 10 for passage of the cord, the member 10 being so connected to the support 9 as to prevent rotation of the member 10 about the roller axis while allowing limited axial and/or radial movement of the member 10 relative to the support 9. The hub 2 is attached to the roller 5 as by screw 5<SP>1</SP>, and the roller 5 carries a trunnion 6 rotatably supported in an arm 8 of the support 9. Rotation of the member 10 relative to the support 9 is prevented by a pin and socket arrangement or similar interengaging surfaces.</p> |
