<p>Thiother derivs. of formula (I) (where Y is -O-), -CH2- or -CO-; R1 is H, 1-4 C alkyl, 1-2C alkoxy, 3-4C alkenyloxy, 3-5C alkynyloxy, halogen, 1-3C alkylcarbonyl, formyl, 1-5C alkoxycarbonyl or 1-2C alkylthio; R2 is H, 1-3C alkyl, 1-2 C alkoxy or Cl; or R1 +R2 is 3,4-methylenedioxy; R3 is H, Me, Et or Ph; and R4 is H or Me), e.G. 4-(2-phenylthio-ethoxy) phenyl phenyl ether, 4-(2-phenylthio-ethoxy)benzophenone or 2-(p-tolythio)-propy 4-benzylphenyl ether, are newp cpds. (I) are pesticides useful for combating insects. The insecticidal activity may be considerably extended and adapted to specific circumstances by the addition of other insecticides and/or acaricides.</p> |
