PURPOSE:To execute one-sheet copying and continuous copying by a simple mechanism, by providing a control part by which a copying operation of one sheet, and a continuous copying operation are executed, in case when a signal of a prescribed time or below has been received in the course of a holding mode, and in case when a signal of a prescribed time or above, respectively. CONSTITUTION:In case when it is desired to take a copy by only one sheet, a switch means 42 is turned on by a shorter time than a prescribed time. When one sheet copying has been ended, a copying machine is shifted to a holding mode again. Also, incase when it is desired to make a continuous copying, the switch means 42 is turned on by a longer time than the prescribed time. When a continuous copying operation is started, whenever copying of one sheet is executed, a count of a sheet number display part 43 is brought to plus by '1' each. In this state, by turning on the switch means 42 again, when a desired number of sheets has been displayed on the display part 43, the copying operation is ended by a decision of a CPU 50, the display counter is cleared, and the copying machine is shifted to the holding mode again. In this way, one sheet copying and continuous copying can be executed by a simple mechanism. |
