PURPOSE:To prevent losing sight of the position of a cursor by providing a signal electrode driver, and an LED display circuit for receiving a cursor position signal and displaying a cursor horizontal position display LED and a cursor vertical position display LED. CONSTITUTION:The display device is provided with a signal electrode driver 4 for receiving a timing signal 7 and driving a signal electrode of a simple matrix liquid crystal display 5, and an LED display circuit 11 for receiving a cursor position signal and displaying a cursor horizontal position display LED 15 and a cursor vertical position display LED 14. Accordingly, by receiving a cursor position signal 10 for showing cursor position information on a screen, the LED display circuit 11 displays the cursor horizontal position display LED 15 and the vertical position display LED 14, can show the abscissa and the ordinate, respectively, and a response speed of the LED becomes sufficiently high. In such a way, even if a cursor is moved quickly, the position of the cursor is not lost from sight.
