Modified resin (I) contains (A) 50-98 wt.% at least one reaction resin (II) processable to a thermoset resin, liq. in range 18-100 deg.C, with average mol.wt. 200-500,000 and sufficient no. of reactive gps. for hardening (B) 2-50 wt.% at least one organosiloxane rubber (III) which is 3-dimensionally crosslinked, as particles of dia. 0.01-50 microns distributed in finely dividef form in (II), the particles having on their surface reactive gps. which, opt. in presence of reaction-promoting auxiliaries, react chemically with (II) before or during further processing of (I), and opt. (C) minor amts. of auxiliaries (IV), partic. crosslinking agents, catalysts, dispersing agents, and/or hardeners.
