PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent useless current consumption and enable photographing by good optical characteristic by transmitting data whether a lens is in a changeover macro-condition or not from a microcomputer on the lens side to a microcomputer on the body side. SOLUTION: When information of being set in a changeover macro is obtained from a lens, it is operated in an infinite mode, and the lens is confirmed to be stopped so as to advance to a light measuring sequence. Various data are input from the lens, light is measured in a light measuring circuit, and exposure is computed. Data whether the lens having a changeover macro- mechanism is in the changeover macro-condition or not, are transmitted from a microcomputer 30 on the lens side to a microcomputer 10 on the body side. Hereby, the microcomputer 10 on the body side is informed that the lens is in the changeover macro-condition. Consequently, at changeover macro, AF operation can be prohibited, and useless current consumption can be prevented. By fixing a focus lens on the optical infinite position, a photograph can be taken by good optical characteristic. |
