The pulley wheel is mounted on an axle with bearing clearance. The axle (3) has a defined diametrical range (4) which extends through a sector with an under 180 degree sector angle. The radius of curvature in this sector is the same as that of the inner wall of the bearing bore, the bearing bush or the bearing shell of the pulley. The radius of curvature (r) of the remaining diametrical area of the axle is smaller than the radius of curvature of the bearing bore (2) or the bearing shell bore. The area taking pulley working peak loads in the area of the middle of the axle section has a greater radius.
