SCREW TAP MANUFACTURING METHOD

摘要

FIELD: manufacture of screw taps. SUBSTANCE: sides of teeth of roll-threading lip are relieved separately by single-rib grinding wheel set for the angle of thread profile. Grinding wheel is moved along the teeth of roll-threading lip when relieving the left side of thread profile with value of axial feed less and the right side of thread profile with value of axial feed less and the right side of thread profile with value of axial feed more than thread pitch. Relationships for determination of indicated axial feed values depending on thread pitch, angle of thread profile and angle of teeth of roll-threading lip are offered. EFFECT: higher productivity and quality of relieving of upper parts of sides of teeth of roll-threading lip.
