PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of damage in a contact part by supplying the traction oil near a contact point in the case where each part of a toroidal type transmission mechanism is rotated in the condition that each traction surface of an input and an output disks and a peripheral surface of a power roller directly contact with each other without providing an oil film. SOLUTION: A piston 2 is installed in a cylinder chamber 1, and the piston 2 is energized in one way by an elastic body 3 so as to pressurize the traction oil housed between the piston 2 and the cylinder chamber 1. A feeding screw mechanism 6 is threaded with a screw crest 50 of an outer end of a piston shaft 5 connected to the piston 2, and the feeding screw mechanism 6 is rotated by a motor 9 so as to feed the piston shaft 5, and the piston shaft 5 is locked with a stopper 12 at the predetermined feeding position. At the time of operating an engine for starting, lock of the stopper 12 is released by a solenoid 11, and the traction oil pressurized by the elastic body 3 is fed to appropriate positions of the toroidal type transmission mechanism. |
