<p>The socket (F), that is open at either end, is fixed to the ground an angle by a support (P). A window (3) is cut into the socket wall with the cutaway portion (4) fixed above the window by a bracket (5) acting as a shield. In the event of the jet being turned on whilst the lance is still in the socket the lance tilts out of the socket and the tip (7) engages with the window locking it in place.</p> |
