PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope capable of producing a high quality image without adverse effect on image signals transmitted through a signal cable even when rotational motion is caused between a rotatably connected flexible connecting tube and a connector. SOLUTION: At least either member 32 on the flexible connecting tube 5 side or a member 33 on the connector 6 side brought into contact with each other at a rotating connection part A is made of a non-conductive material, and the flexible connecting tube 5 and the connector 6 at the rotating connection part A are electrically insulated.
