PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a correct image based on analogue signals obtained by receiving ultrasonic waves reflected in a subject to return in an ultrasonograph to transmit the ultrasonic waves to the subject, receive the ultrasonic waves reflected in the subject to obtain received signals, and display an image based on the signals and in accordance with operation by an operator in spite of temperature change around the ultrasonograph, or heat generation inside the main body of the ultrasonograph. SOLUTION: An image signal generating part is provided with an analogue- digital converter 103 to convert a received analogue signal into a digital signal, and an offset correcting means to take input of an analogue signal carrying a specified known value into the analogue-digital converter 103 when specified operation by an operator is detected by an image control part 109, and correct offset error of the analogue-digital converter 103.
