<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for image display by which data is displayed at the time of input in sequence and always with an optimal contrast while pixel data is inputted in sequence. SOLUTION: The image displaying apparatus is provided with a data input unit 10 into which several pixel data constituting image data are inputted in sequence, an image data constituting unit 11 which constitutes image data representing a screen at every specified period according to the pixel data representing a part of the screen which is previously inputted, an average value calculating unit 12 which calculates an average value of the image data, a LUT modification unit 13 which modifies a look-up table(LUT) 14 according to the average value, an image processing unit which performs contrast processing of the image data according to the LUT 14 and a display unit 16 which displays a gradated image.</p> |
