PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber filter having a filter effect in a high reflection attenuating quantity, a small loss and a wide band. SOLUTION: End parts of two optical fibers 1 are welded and extended, a welded taper part 2 which is combined in a taper shape is formed, input and output terminals are respectively prepared at both ends of the welded taper part 2 and also the optical fibers other than the input and output terminals are cut in the vicinity of the welded taper part 2, and the cut surfaces are processed in non-reflective termination to compose the optical fiber filter. |
