The present invention discloses a disaposable absorbent article preferably constituted by ba permeable upper layer, an impermeable lower layer, an absorbent matrix placed between both layers, elastic bands and a fastening system; both, article and absorbent matrix have two longitudinal edges, two transversal edges and a crotch zone that will be in contact with the user crotch when the article is been used, so that it has two anti-leakage barriers: a first barrier placed in the upper part of the article and adjacent to each one of the longitudinal edges of the absorbent matrix in the crotch zone and which extends preferably throughout the article and a second anti-leakage barrier placed at the upper part of the article adjacently to the first barrier, between this and each one of the article longitudinal edges in the crotch zone and which extends preferably throughout the article.
