<p>PURPOSE:To prevent mis-detection of CRV(Code Rule violation) by providing a synchronization means with CMI(Coded Mark Inversion Codes) alternate pattern. CONSTITUTION:A CMI synchronizing circuit 10 applies CRV detection when a main signal data is logical 0, applies pattern detection when the main signal data is logical 1 and generates a clock signal. Then a CMI alternate pattern synchronizing means 20 and a CMI alternate pattern synchronizing protection means 30 generate a CMI alternate pattern whose synchronization is established by using the detected pattern and clock signal. A CRV output means 40 compares and collates the CMI alternate pattern whose synchronization is established with the pattern outputted from the circuit 10 to apply the CRV detection when the main signal data is logical 1 and the result is outputted together with the result of CRV detection when the main signal data detected by the circuit 10 is logical 0. Thus, even when the CRV is added consecutively, correct CRV is detected.</p> |
