PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the work of laying ducts and make the effect of a silencer satisfactory. SOLUTION: A silencer 9 is placed in lines of ducts 7, 8 which carry conditioned air from a principal air conditioner to a plurality of rooms inside a building. The lines of ducts have main ducts 7 and a plurality of branch ducts 8, the main ducts being connected at one end to the principal air conditioner and at the other end to the silencer and the branch ducts being connected at one end of each duct to the silencer 9 and at the other end to rooms respectively. The silencer 9 has soundabsorption materials (partition plates 17) which deaden the sound by making flows of conditioned air collide with one another. |
