The present invention relates to an interface apparatus for automotive open system architecture (AUTOSAR) setup, enabling any user to easily set up a module of a standard basic software (BSW) module. The interface apparatus includes at least one module icon, a module connection display unit, a module communication connection unit, and a setup description creation unit. The at least one module icon represents and controls a module of the AUTOSAR. The module connection display unit creates a starting point when a cursor is located on the module icon, creates a dashed line having an arrow end when the cursor is dragged from the starting point, creates an ending point when the cursor is located on a module icon other than the module icon having the starting point, and connects the two module icons with each other when the drop of the cursor is performed while changing the dashed line into a bold line to mark the connection between the two modules. The module communication connection unit sets up an application programming interface (API) to transmit the module having the starting point to the module having the ending point between two modules connected with by the module connection display unit. The setup description creation unit creates a description window to describe the API setup between two modules when the cursor is dragged. |
