PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a period when data transmission is interrupted during network switching, compared to the conventional practice.SOLUTION: A switching device includes: a first port group including a plurality of ports connected to a first network; a second port group including a plurality of ports connected to a second network; a switching part for executing switching processing of stopping the use of ports of the first port group and starting the use of ports of the second port group on the basis of a switching instruction; a storage part for storing setting information for operating respective ports of the first port group and the second port group; and a control part for outputting a switching instruction for switching one port of the first port group to one port of the second port group to the switching part, and sequentially outputting a switching instruction for respectively switching the other ports of the first port group to ports of the second port group to the switching part after determining that data transmission is possible between one port of the second port group and the second network on the basis of the setting information in the case that two or more of the prescribed number of ports are switched.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
