PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of avoiding the problems ( that soot stain is deposited on a front side of a power supply changeover switch and that compaction of equipment cannot be attained since a sufficient insulation distance is required between a dielectric plate and a panel) while maintaining, similarly to the prior arts, a function for preventing an inner pressure from rising by the generation of an arc gas.SOLUTION: In a power supply changeover switch, a cross bar 2 including a movable contact 4 is rotated and the movable contact is brought into contact with one of stationary contacts 5 and 6 which are disposed at both left and right sides of the cross bar. The power supply changeover switch comprises: a base part 8 in which the cross bar 2 is accommodated; and a cover part 9 that covers an upper side of the base part. The cover part is disposed while keeping a gap 10 that is opened in a side surface direction, between the cover part and the base part and within the base part, a discharge path is formed for guiding an arc gas that is generated within the base part, to the gap.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
