PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method where the removal of a metal catalyst used for the production of a polymer is efficiently performed, and a polymer is efficiently refined.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a polymer where a polymer solution containing a metal catalyst is added with a compound capable of complexing with the metal catalyst so as to be a metal complex, thus the metal catalyst is removed. Particularly, it is preferable that the metal catalyst be the one subjected to catalyst deactivation treatment, and, further, after the addition of the compound capable of complexing, the formed metal complex is removed by filtration.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
