PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus configured to enable appropriate maintenance on a device to be registered on a client device.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus 101 which prepares execution files 501, 502 for maintenance of device information to be registered on a client device 102 includes: storage means of storing device information input for preparing the execution files; modification means of modifying the device information stored in the storage means; and file preparation means of preparing an update execution file 502 including the device information modified by the modification means, so as not to include an installer for registering the device information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
