摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface light emission module that can suppress occurrence of color shift in light extracted in a front direction.SOLUTION: A surface light emitting module 11 includes a planar light emitting device 1 having a transparent substrate 2 and a light emitting portion 3, and a phosphor layer 7 which contains phosphor particles 7N covering the surface 2b of the transparent substrate 2, directly transmits therethrough a part of light emitted from the surface 2b as first color light while wavelength-converting another part of the light emitted from the surface 2b by the phosphor particles 7N, and then emitting the wavelength-converted light as second color light. The phosphor layer 7 is configured so that the amount of the phosphor particles 7N contained in the portion R1 corresponding to the central portion of the light emitting portion 3 out of the phosphor layer 7 is smaller than the amount of the phosphor particles 7N contained in the portion R2 corresponding to the peripheral portion of the light emitting portion 3 out of the phosphor layer 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
