PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of separately manufacturing fuel injection devices having configurations in which volumes of pressure control chambers are different from each other, while suppressing an increase in the number of types of a nozzle body.SOLUTION: A fuel injection device 100 controls injection of fuel by a nozzle needle 60 displaced in accordance with fuel pressure in a pressure control chamber 53. The volume of the pressure control chamber is set to one of a plurality of predetermined types. In addition to the nozzle needle 60, the fuel injection device 100 further includes: a nozzle body 41 forming a nozzle hole 44 and a supply passage 55; a cylinder 56 for demarcating the pressure control chamber 53; and a spacer 80 forming the supply passage 55 together with the nozzle body 41. As the cylinder 56, one corresponding to the set volume of the pressure control chamber 53 is selected from a plurality of types having axial lengths different from each other. Also, as the spacer 80, one having an axial length corresponding to the cylinder 56 is selected from a plurality of types.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
