PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable detection of a minute amount of oil leakage stably with high sensitivity.SOLUTION: An oil leakage detector includes a support part 22 and an optical fiber 10 spirally wound around the support part 22. A light source 26 is connected to one end of the optical fiber 10, and an optical receiver 28 is connected to the other end of the optical fiber 10. Accordingly, the optical fiber 10 passes a water surface more frequently, so that an area to have contact with oils increases. As a result, a minute amount of oil leakage can be detected with high sensitivity, and desired detection sensitivity can be easily set by a wound number of the optical fiber 10 against the support part 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
