A nut tapping machine comprises a housing 9, to which is secured a resilient conical ring 10, and a bent tap 6 rotated by a sleeve 3 driven by a gear-wheel 4. Housing 9 has a cranked nut outlet 15, and a moulded rear wall 16, and sleeve 17 is detachably connected to the housing. Lubricant passages 19, 20, 21 are provided so as to prevent the cutting oils and lubricant from wetting the nut rebound surface 11 of ring 10.</p> |
