An implement for spreading powdered material of the kind comprising a container 13 and an ejector 10 rotatable about a vertical axis is characterized in that the container is provided with an annulus 18 having outlet parts 20, 21, 22, which is angularly adjustable about the axis of rotation of the ejector over a total angular range of at least 45 degrees and preferably 110 degrees. As shown the annulus 18 is adjusted by means of a lever 23 having a pin 28 which engages in holes 27 on the frame and an extension member 29 is fixed to the frame and is provided with further holes 30. The effective opening in the ports is adjusted by means of plates 32 depending from a ring 35 which is adjusted by means of an arm 37 provided with a scale 38 and clamped in position on the lever 23 by means of a clamp 39 provided with a pointer which cooperates with the scale 38.
