One of the portions may be defined by a pair of adjacent lengths of capillary tube 14, 15 connected together at one end. As shown, a casing 1 for a heater having outlets 3 in the passenger compartment of the vehicle has secured to one end wall 11 by clips 17 the capillary tube 8, which is connected at one end to the valve 7 and which has a coiled portion 16 for sensing temperatures exteriorly of the casing 1 but inside the passenger compartment, a U-shaped portion 13 defined by the lengths 14, 15 for sensing the temperature of air leaving the heat exchanger 5 and a straight end portion 10 for sensing the temperature of air entering the heat exchanger 5 through an air inlet 2. The passage of air through the exchanger 5 may be aided by a motor driven impeller 6. |
