PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the failure of a variable display device due to heat by cooling the internal space of a box for housing a rotary member having identification information and a drive means for the rotary member with a cooling means. SOLUTION: A cooling fan device 87 is mounted on the rear wall of a drive part housing box storing rotary drums 52d to 52i, via a mounting hole 89, a mounting pin 89 and a pair of upper and lower mounting hooks 90b. Also, a temperature sensor 91 is fitted to the rear wall with a screw 92. The cooling fan device 87 is connected to a power supply and a relay substrate via wiring 94 and a connector 95. Power is fed to the cooling fan device 87 to rotate a fan 96, thereby cooling the internal space of the housing box and the rotary drums 52d to 52i as well as related parts. The temperature sensor 91 is connected to the power supply and the relay substrate via a connector 97a and wiring 98. In this case, the sensor 91 is turned on, when temperature within the housing on 50 rises to a level equal to or above the preset value, thereby driving the cooling fan device 87. Thus, a failure due to heat is prevented. |
