<p>PURPOSE:To enable uniform fixing to be obtained over the entire surface of copying paper by providing the means of conveying a toner image carrying body to a roller fixing device movable in the conveying direction of the toner image carrying material according to the lateral width of the toner image carrying material. CONSTITUTION:A fixing roller 1 and a pressure roller 2 are provided. The pressure roller 2 is turnably supported to a lower support frame 3 and the fixing roller 1 is supported turnably to an upper support frame 4. The upper support frame 4 is pivotally fitted to the lower support frame by a shaft 5 and is supported turnably about this saft to the frame 3. A protruding part is provided to the frames 3, 4 and a hole is penetrated thereto, into which a bolt 6 passes and a compression spring 7 is interposed. The fixing and pressure rollers 1, 2 are pressure-contacted under high pressure by this spring pressure. The paper having passed between the both rollers is separated from the rollers 1, 2 and discharged by separating guide plates 8, 8'.</p> |
