PURPOSE:To make it possible to manufacture simultaneously a curved beam and curved handrail with the same curvature by bending a curved stair material three dimensionally to cut in two along the curve, and using one of them as a curved beam as well as using the other as curved handrail. CONSTITUTION:A curved stair material 1 such as glued laminated lumber is sliced in a thickness of about 3mm to form a multi-level member to which adhesives are applied. The material 1 is set to the outside surface of a bending vested member 4, and the state bent in three dimensional curve is pressed by pressing means 5 to hold. After that, it is taken out after the adhesives are solidified, and it is used as the curved stair material 1. Then, the curved stair material 1 is so cut in two that one of them is a curved beam 2 and that the other is a handrail curve 3. According to the constitution, the curved beam and curved handrail having the same curvature can be simultaneously manufactured. |
