The invention is concerned with a transfer and setting-down apparatus for transferring brick mouldings (2) deposited in a row on a setting-down surface (1) onto a stacking surface according to a selective setting-down program. This transfer and setting-down apparatus has a turning frame, mounted rotatably through at least 180 DEG about a central axis of rotation (3), with two suction beams (4), forming frame longitudinal sides parallel to one another in a vertical plane, and with suction plates adjustable on the suction beams (4) into selected setting-down positions in the beam longitudinal direction. The suction beams (4) are mounted rotatably in the wing cheeks (6a, 6b) forming the transverse sides of the frame. The wing cheeks (6a, 6b) are rotatably mounted, by means of a hollow profile (7) connecting them and having a vacuum connection and suction conduits (8) leading to the suction plates (5), on the axis of rotation (3) arranged between two bearing cheeks (9a, 9b). A rotary drive (10) for the turning frame is supported on one bearing cheek (9a) and a pivoting drive (11) for the suction beams (4) is supported on the other bearing cheek (9b). The two bearing cheeks (9a, 9b) are suspended on a crossmember (12). <IMAGE>
