Methods for suppressing the dissemination of dust emissions from dust producing materials are disclosed. Fugitive dust emissions are suppressed by applying aqueous solutions of a graft copolymer obtained by graft copolymerizing cationic monomers onto polyvinyl alcohol to dust producing materials.
