A first layer (2) of vegetable material such as bark extends in the vertical direction, the epiphyte (5) being fixed to it. Fixing can be by means of a second layer of loose vegetable material, which is enclosed by a net, and the first layer can be fixed to the bottom of a dish- or pot-shaped support (3), which is filled with material (4) similar to that of the first layer.
