PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make operation easy and prevent misoperation by eliminating the need to release an AE lock. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a light measurement and arithmetic part 1 which measures the light emitted by a sample and calculates a proper exposure value, an AE lock indication member 2 which indicates the fixation of the exposure value, and an exposure control part 3 which fixes the proper exposure value calculated by the light measurement and arithmetic part when the AE lock indication member is operated and controls exposure according to the said fixed proper exposure value at photography time. The exposure control part 3 is so constituted as to reset the fixation of the proper exposure value as a picture is taken. Consequently, it is not necessary to reset the proper exposure value fixed at the time of the last photography each time a photograph is taken. |
