<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability of a multiwindow system when both application and help windows overlap with each other in a multiwindow environment. SOLUTION: When an application window 11 and a help window 12 which overlap with each other are displayed, the display data on the window 12 are displayed as they are at a non-overlapping part. Meanwhile, the display data on the window 11 is added to the display data including the transparent background of the window 12 and both data are displayed at an overlapping part. When an operation is given to the overlapping part of the windows 11 and 12, the operating contents sent once to a help program 23 are sent again to an application program 22. Thus, a direct operation is possible to the overlapping part of both windows.</p> |
