PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level sensor easy to assemble and hardly causing a slide defect. SOLUTION: A float 1 is constituted of a float 1 body, and a spacer 4 installed in the float 1 body through which a shaft is penetrated. The float 1 body has a spacer container 1C of the similar shape to the spacer 4 and a pin hole 4D where a balancer pin 2 which is also a weight balancer to the magnet 3 and at the same time fixes the spacer 4 to the float 1 body is inserted. The spacer 4 has a shaft cylinder part 4B where the shaft is penetrated, a magnet container 4A and the pin hole 4D where the balancer pin 2 is penetrated. After completion of assembling, the tip end of the pin 2 is retained with a bush nut 5.
