PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrite sintered body which has a small water absorption coefficient and a reduced core loss, a method of manufacturing the same, and ferrite molding granules. SOLUTION: Ferrite material powder and ethylene-modified polyvinyl alcohol having 4 to 10 mol% modified ethylene, an average polymerization degree of 500 to 1700, and an average saponification degree of 92 to 97 mol% are mixed together and granulated into ferrite molding granules, the ferrite molding granules are formed into a ferrite molded body, and the ferrite molded body is baked into a ferrite sintered body. The ferrite sintered body has water absorption of 0.2 mass% or blow, and a method of manufacturing the ferrite sintered body and ferrite forming granules are provided.
