An alpenstock consisting of a body portion, a grip, and a protection cap is provided to prevent the protection cap from being lost by forming a protection cap engaging portion on the grip. The alpenstock includes a body portion(11) formed by engaging plural metal pipes with each other, a grip(12) engaged to an upper portion of the body portion, a lower member(13) engaged to a lower portion of the body portion, a protection cap(14) covering a lower end portion of the lower member, and a protection cap engaging portion formed on the grip. The protection cap is formed in a cylindrical shape, and has a threaded portion which is formed on the outer peripheral surface thereof and a hole formed corresponding to the lower member in a longitudinal direction. The protection cap engaging portion is formed in a circular groove at an upper central portion of the grip, and has a threaded portion(S2) formed corresponding to the threaded portion of the protection cap. |
