PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outboard engine in which supplying of air to the engine can be performed without being mixed with air in a housing and further ventilation of air in the housing is superior. SOLUTION: An outboard engine is comprised of housings 1, 2, 3 and 4 having a suction port 61, a ventilation port 62 and a discharging port 62 above them; an engine 9 arranged within the housings and provided with an air intake port 76; an air suction duct 73 for guiding air sucked through the air suction port into the air intake port of the engine; and a ventilation duct 86 connected at its one end to a ventilation port and at the other end opened into the housings. The opening at the other end of the ventilation duct is positioned at lower locations than one end of the ventilation duct and the discharging port, air sucked from the ventilation port passes through the ventilation duct, and is supplied into the housings, the air supplied into the housings ascends within the housings and is discharged out of the discharging port to the surrounding atmosphere. |
