Provided are an organic photoelectronic device having a UV blocking layer for protecting an organic active layer from UV light, and an image sensor including the organic photoelectronic device. The organic photoelectronic device includes: a first light-transmitting electrode disposed on a side to which light is incident; a second light-transmitting electrode facing the first light-transmitting electrode; an active layer disposed between the first light-transmitting electrode and the second light-transmitting electrode; and a UV blocking layer disposed on an upper part of the first light-transmitting electrode, wherein the UV blocking layer includes a UV light absorbing layer having at least one layer which has at least one UV light-absorbing organic material, or a UV light reflecting layer having at least two layers which has at least one UV light reflecting organic material, at least one UV light reflecting inorganic material, or at least one UV light reflecting organic material and inorganic material.
